Caesarean section also called C-section or caesarean delivery is the surgical technique to deliver one or more babies. A caesarean section is often needed when a vaginal delivery imposes a risk on both the baby or mother.

Laparoscopy refers to a surgery performed in the abdomen or pelvis made with the small incisions with the help of a camera. The laparoscope is helpful in diagnosis or therapeutic interventions by making only a few small cuts in the abdomen.

Your doctor may also prescribe the fertility drug Clomid to help you conceive, with or without metformin. Clomid along with metformin are quite helpful for women with PCOS get pregnant more quickly than by just using metformin alone. This medication is quite helpful in ovulating if you do not ovulate regularly.

During the process of vaginal hysterectomy, the surgeon seperates the uterus from the ovaries, fallopian tubes and upper part of the vagina, also from the blood vessels and connective tissue that hold it. The uterus is then extracted through the vagina.

A laparoscopic hysterectomy is a kind of minimally invasive surgical procedure meant for removing the uterus. A small incision is done through the navel via which a tiny camera is entered. The surgeon views the image from this camera on a TV monitor during this procedure.
